More jobs now show their language

Every job can be filtered by the language it’s written in. But our language detector used to leave the language off whenever a description leaned heavily on tech terms, brand names, and snippets of code — which is most of them. Those postings then never showed up under the Job language filter.

We added a fallback: when a description is clearly written in the Latin alphabet and the detector’s own best guess is English, we label it English rather than leaving it blank. Genuinely non-English postings are detected confidently and are untouched, so nothing gets mislabelled.

About a third of previously-unlabelled jobs now carry a language. Filtering by English — or any language — now surfaces the postings that were invisible to that filter before.
