Search with real filters
Region, work mode, stack, seniority, salary — ChatGPT searches the live freehire catalogue, not the open web.
Jobs as cards
Results and postings render as cards right in the chat, each linking to its freehire page and the employer.
Is it still open?
Paste a shortlist and ChatGPT checks which postings are still open and which have closed.
Similar roles
Ask for more like the one you picked — the same neighbours the job page shows.
Salary ranges
What a role pays by seniority, from postings that state a salary.
Market breakdowns
Which skills, countries and work modes a search turns up most.

// setup

  1. 1. Open freehire in ChatGPT and choose Add.
  2. 2. In a new chat, pick freehire from the + menu (or type @freehire) and ask a job question.

Save and track

Use the same freehire connection to save jobs and update your Tracking board. When ChatGPT asks for access, sign in with freehire and approve the connection. Public search works without an account. Personal tools use OAuth and do not need an API key. The setup guide also covers custom connections to the same MCP address.

Prefer an API key? The older freehire GPT ↗ still works: paste an API key into its authentication field. It calls the endpoints in the API reference.

Free and open source — no tracking, no lock-in. Read every line on GitHub ↗.
