We ask before loading analytics cookies now

freehire uses two analytics tools — Google Analytics and PostHog — to see which pages get used and fix what’s rough. Until now they loaded for everyone the moment a page opened. For visitors in the EU, EEA, or UK, that’s meant to be a choice, not a default.

Now it is. If you’re in one of those regions, a small banner asks first — Accept and Reject side by side, nothing pre-ticked — and no analytics load until you say yes. Everyone else is unchanged. Changed your mind? Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner any time, and rejecting stops what was running. The privacy policy now spells out exactly what runs and when.
