Optimization Software Engineer (Civil Aviation)
Designs and implements optimization and trajectory-planning algorithms that track and coordinate thousands of aircraft in the US National Airspace System in real time. The role applies operations research, optimization, statistics, and ML using modern languages like Rust and Python, on-site in Boston on ASI's Civil Aviation team.
Simulation Software Engineer (Civil Aviation)
Builds software simulators modeling the entire US National Airspace System — aircraft trajectories, weather, ATC and pilot behavior — for the Civil Aviation team. Day to day: designing discrete-time simulation infrastructure and physics-based models using statistics, algorithms, Rust, and Python.
GNC Software Engineer (Civil Aviation)
Designs GNC algorithms to track and plan trajectories for thousands of aircraft in the US National Airspace System, applying state estimation, physics, optimization, and Monte Carlo analysis in languages like Rust and Python to help modernize air traffic control.
Security Engineer
Security Engineer hardening and maintaining AWS GovCloud and Microsoft GCC High cloud and endpoint environments for defense/intelligence applications, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-171/CMMC and NIST 800-53 standards.
