About
The Biloxi Housing Authority (BHA) is a public agency dedicated to delivering safe, quality affordable housing for low- and moderate‑income residents of Biloxi, Mississippi. In partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, BHA owns and manages 11 housing complexes and administers a range of subsidy programs, including market‑rate units, Tenant‑Based Housing Choice Vouchers, VASH vouchers, Project‑Based Vouchers, and Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) units. Beyond housing, BHA enhances resident well‑being through on‑site amenities such as adult day care, a computer lab with homework assistance, an assisted‑living property, a free health clinic, and convenient transit access. The Authority also offers extensive community support services—including GED preparation and homebuyer education—through its Community and Supportive Services team, reinforcing its mission to foster self‑sufficiency and strong, empowered communities.
