Our founders were the faculty members who stayed late helping first-year students find their path, the advisors who celebrated each hard-won credit hour, and the campus technologists who kept systems running so learning never stopped. They lived the daily reality of under-resourced institutions working miracles on shoestring budgets - where critical student data lived in spreadsheets, support requests vanished into email inboxes, and staff spent more time on administrative friction than on human connection. In 2016, Canyon GBS emerged to transform this reality. The founders set out to build technology that would give every college, regardless of size or budget, the same powerful capabilities elite institutions took for granted. They created Advising App, an AI-powered CRM that brings together every touchpoint in the student journey - from first inquiry to graduation - giving staff a clear view to recruit, retain, and graduate students effectively. They built Aiding App, a unified service management platform that routes requests to the right team and resolves issues faster, whether it's IT support, financial aid questions, or facility fixes. Both products are powered by a purpose-built AI engine that handles routine tasks and surfaces next best steps, freeing staff to focus on the human moments that matter most. Today, Canyon GBS technology powers institutions across North America that serve those who serve others. The company maintains SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 certifications, aligning with FERPA, GDPR, and other privacy standards because trust is sacred in education.
