These include U.S. state history departments, collision repair facilities, rental and fleet companies, and various consumer protection agencies. SPECIAL: CARFAX’s mission centers on ensuring that consumers have the most accurate and thorough vehicle information possible, enabling them to make informed decisions when purchasing or selling vehicles. Their flagship product, the CARFAX Vehicle History Report, provides essential data about vehicle ownership history, accident reports, service records, and much more, creating a foundation of trust for used car buyers. Moreover, CARFAX operates as a subsidiary of S&P Global, continuing to innovate within the automotive industry while aiming to help millions of users shop, buy, service, and sell cars with confidence each year.
