What started with the establishment of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1881 has evolved into a revolutionary transportation network that connects Canada, the United States, and Mexico. In April 2023, a significant milestone was achieved when the Canadian Pacific Railway merged with the Kansas City Southern Railway to form Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), marking the inception of the first and only single-line rail network to span the entirety of North America. This unique infrastructure allows CPKC to provide innovative and efficient freight transportation services, seamlessly linking key markets across the continent. Our journey is not merely about connecting cities; it is about fostering relationships and driving economic growth. With a network stretching over 32,000 kilometers, CPKC plays a vital role in transporting bulk commodities such as grain and coal, as well as merchandise freight, which includes everything from consumer products to automotive parts.
