Duluth Trading Company

About

Duluth Trading Company, founded in 1989, is an American workwear and accessories retailer known for its durable and functional clothing. The company originally started as Portable Products, Inc. focusing on tool accessories before evolving into Duluth Trading Co. with a catalog featuring a wider variety of work gear. Based in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, Duluth Trading Company has grown rapidly, becoming a lifestyle brand appealing to both men and women who value practical yet comfortable clothing options. The brand is recognized for introducing innovative products such as the Longtail T® shirt, designed to prevent plumber's crack, and Buck Naked® performance underwear. Duluth Trading's commitment to quality is encapsulated in its No Bull Guarantee, assuring customers of their products' reliability. Over the years, the company has not only performed well in retail but has also contributed to various community initiatives, including sponsorship roles like being the official outfitter for the USA Luge team. Despite the challenges of the retail apocalypse in the early 2010s, Duluth Trading continued to expand its physical locations while solidifying its online presence.
