Firmus Technologies Firmus Technologies is a global leader pioneering the development and operation of efficient AI infrastructure across Asia Pacific. Founded in Australia in 2019, our mission is to create the most…
Leads end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI infrastructure programs at a global AI cloud provider, bridging engineering, operations, and business teams to drive efficient, sustainable AI compute platforms.
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI infrastructure programs, bridging engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure efficient, sustainable AI compute rollouts for customers and internal platforms.
Hands-on senior engineer who runs Firmus's fleet-scale, multi-tenant Kubernetes estate underpinning AI FactoryOS and its AI Cloud — owning cluster lifecycle, control-plane recovery, GPU integration, tenant onboarding and the automation/remediation tooling that keeps it running 24/7. Core stack: Kubernetes internals, etcd, Go/Python, GitOps and NVIDIA GPU tooling.
Owns the operational security of Firmus's large-scale GPU AI infrastructure: securing a multi-tenant Kubernetes estate (admission policy, workload identity, network policy), building eBPF-based runtime detection and enforcement, owning delivery-pipeline security gates, and acting as the senior escalation point for security faults on a 24/7 roster.
Principal-level Kubernetes engineer designing and building production-grade cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, and automation for GPU-accelerated bare-metal AI infrastructure, primarily using Kubernetes, Go, and cloud-native tooling.
Senior application security engineer who owns AppSec for Firmus AI Cloud — its public APIs, multi-tenant services, and AI assistants/agents. Day to day: running CI/CD security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM), threat modeling, building secure paved roads and automation, driving vulnerability remediation, and extending SOC 2/ISO 27001 controls, while writing code in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
Senior Security Engineer joining Firmus's AI Platforms team to own platform security for its GPU cloud and managed Kubernetes service: hardening clusters, securing supply chain and IaC pipelines, and standardizing secrets, IAM, encryption and monitoring. Core stack: Kubernetes (Calico, Falco, Kyverno), Vault, Python/Go on Linux.
Design and implement energy-efficient AI infrastructure solutions, advising customers on high-performance GPU clusters and AI workloads while bridging technical needs with Firmus’s AI Factory platform.
Owns and evolves the operational datastore platform behind Firmus AI Cloud and internal services — running PostgreSQL, caches, and NoSQL stores on bare-metal, self-hosted, and cloud infrastructure. Sets HA, backup, and scaling standards, automates provisioning with IaC, owns SLOs and on-call, and builds self-service 'paved road' tooling for product teams.
Senior engineer who defines how GPU infrastructure health is measured, validated and communicated for Firmus's AI Cloud — building trusted health signals, golden dashboards, alerts, diagnostics (DCGM, NCCL, stress tests) and runbooks so teams can bring capacity online safely and recover from failures fast. Core stack: Linux, Python, GPU fault diagnosis, PromQL/LogQL/Grafana telemetry.
Owns application security for Firmus AI Cloud — its public APIs, multi-tenant control plane, and AI agents — by building CI/CD security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA, SBOM), leading threat modeling, shipping secure paved roads, and automating SOC 2/ISO 27001 evidence. Hands-on coding in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
Designs, builds, and operates production-grade agentic AI applications that automate and optimize AI-factory operations across Firmus's Model-to-Grid platform. Day to day: building LLM agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, and tool integrations using Python, agent frameworks like LangGraph/LangChain, vector databases, and Kubernetes-based observability and evaluation tooling.
Designs, builds, and operates a proprietary Kubernetes-native job scheduler that orchestrates training, fine-tuning, inference, batch, and agentic workloads across massive-scale GPU AI factories. The role is heavy on Go-based Kubernetes controller/scheduler engineering, topology-aware GPU placement (NVLink/NVSwitch, RDMA), and observability.
