About
Girls Inc. of Greater Miami is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that inspires all girls to grow up strong, smart, and bold. Established in 2017, our local affiliate has grown into a cornerstone of the Miami community, providing comprehensive programming that addresses the unique challenges faced by girls and young women in our region. As an affiliate of the longest-running girls' leadership program, we carefully cultivate all-girl spaces that inspire girls to become strong, confident leaders locally and globally. We operate daily after-school programs at school sites across Richmond Heights, Allapattah, Opa-Locka, and Hialeah, serving hundreds of girls each year ages 8-18. Our programs include academic support, STEM education, art, life skills, mentoring, and leadership development. The Girls Inc. Experience changes the trajectory of girls' lives and prepares them for lifelong success, with 87 cents of every dollar spent going directly to supporting girls' development.
