The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is a publicly owned utility that generates and delivers wholesale electricity across a 24‑county region in Northeast Oklahoma. Leveraging a diversified mix of gas, coal, hydroelectric, wind and pumped‑storage assets—including Oklahoma’s first hydroelectric plant and the region’s only pumped‑storage project—GRDA provides reliable, low‑cost power to municipal utilities, electric cooperatives and industrial customers. In addition to its energy operations, GRDA manages over 70,000 surface acres of lake waters, overseeing Grand Lake, Lake Hudson, the W.R. Holway Reservoir, and the Illinois River.
