About
Manufacturing the future. We are building the planet's most efficient factory to accelerate a democratic, abundant, spacefaring future. Our mission is to create a network of highly automated precision component factories across the US that enable Space & Defense manufacturers to obtain parts 10x faster while halving the cost of producing Rockets, Satellites, Jets, and Drones. Hadrian is focused on accelerating advanced manufacturing to support America's Space & Defense industry, which currently faces production bottlenecks due to the limitations of traditional machine shops. Our factories promise to deliver flight-grade machined parts in just 5 to 21 days, depending on complexity and additional processes required. We employ advanced scheduling and capacity management technology that ensures ultra-reliable delivery timelines, maintaining transparency throughout the manufacturing process with real-time visibility into projects and inspection results. By partnering deeply with customers, we significantly enhance their New Product Introduction (NPI) and production throughput, ensuring lead times that reduce reliance on outdated methods. Hadrian's factories are designed to be flexible and scalable, preparing to handle the most demanding manufacturing programs and material needs, including capabilities for Steel, Titanium, and Inconel. As the advanced manufacturing sector evolves, Hadrian stands at the forefront, committed to bringing the future of manufacturing into the present.
Open positions
Weld Engineering Manager, Development
Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense…
IT Engineer
Hands-on IT Engineer who owns day-to-day IT operations at Hadrian's new Cherokee, Alabama precision manufacturing site: endpoint/device lifecycle management, network and infrastructure health, employee onboarding/offboarding, vendor and asset management, and CMMC/ITAR-aligned security. Key tools include Intune/Mosyle/FleetDM, Okta, and Jira Service Management.
Software Engineer, Machine Interfaces
Develops software that interfaces industrial machines, PLCs, and factory equipment for Hadrian's autonomous factories — building human-machine interfaces, integrating automated manufacturing cells, and data-logging pipelines that feed factory scheduling. Works hands-on with hardware using Python, TypeScript, or C#.
Systems Engineer, Additive Manufacturing
A hands-on systems engineer who leads commissioning, qualification, and production readiness of metal additive manufacturing (PBF-LB) equipment at Hadrian's automated factories — running FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ protocols, owning machine reliability programs and P&IDs, and integrating machines into the OPUS platform. On-site in Los Angeles; $150k–$220k.
Software Engineer, Identity & Access Management
Staff software engineer who owns identity and access management for Hadrian's API Platform — building authentication, authorization, and credential automation across AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and factory-floor systems. Core stack: OAuth 2.0/OIDC/SAML/SCIM, RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC, Go or Python, and multi-cloud IAM design.
Software Engineer, Builder Tools
Software engineer on Hadrian's Builder Tools team, building and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, and AI-assisted development workflows that every Hadrian engineer relies on. Core stack includes Go, Python, or TypeScript, Docker/Kubernetes, Git, and AI coding agent integration.
Computational Geometry Software Engineer
At Hadrian — which builds automated factories for aerospace and defense manufacturing — you'd work on Copilot, software that analyzes CAD models to automate design-for-manufacturing analysis and generate real manufacturing processes, using C++, Python, GPU-accelerated geometry pipelines, CAD/CAM integrations, and full-stack web tooling.
Software Engineer, Factory Simulation
Designs, builds, and deploys discrete-event (DES) and 3D simulations of Hadrian's automated factories to guide rapid decisions across forging, casting, machining, welding, and assembly. Day to day: prototyping simulations in Python (OOP), Visual Components, and Omniverse, and maintaining a reusable parametric simulation asset library.
Software Engineer Intern
Software engineering internship building the software backbone of Hadrian's autonomous factories: internal tools, dashboards, backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for factory operations. Hands-on production work in Python, TypeScript, or Go, on-site in the Los Angeles area.
