At Hillside, we are deeply committed to partnering with youth, adults, and families to help them overcome challenges and realize their full potential. For nearly two centuries, we have been a pillar of support in our community, evolving from our roots as an orphanage in 1837 to a comprehensive human services organization today. We believe that every individual deserves a fair chance to develop a healthy personality and a successful life, regardless of the trauma or obstacles they may have faced. Our work is driven by a family-driven, youth-guided philosophy that prioritizes the unique strengths and needs of those we serve. We offer a wide array of integrated services, including behavioral health treatment, child welfare support, special education, and workforce development. Whether through our residential treatment campuses, community-based initiatives, or our Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, we strive to build resilience and foster lasting positive change.
