Our journey began in 1965 when visionary French farmers in the Auvergne region united to form an agricultural cooperative. This cooperative spirit remains the bedrock of our global company, which now operates in 57 countries with a dedicated team of over 9,000 individuals. We specialize in breeding, producing, and distributing high-value field seeds and vegetable seeds, leveraging decades of expertise in plant improvement. Our commitment to research and innovation is unwavering, with significant investments channeled into developing new, improved plant varieties. This includes pioneering work in creating hybrid varieties, such as our first hybrid corn launched in 1970, which revolutionized agricultural practices. Limagrain's innovation extends beyond seed technology. We are uniquely positioned with integrated agri-food chain activities, both in France and internationally. These activities are designed to add value to the wheat and corn produced by our 1,300 farmer members.
