Orbisk's innovative approach leverages developments in computer vision and artificial intelligence to create a smart camera system that can accurately record food disposal at the ingredient level. The camera, integrated with a waste bin and scale, automatically catalogues the type and amount of food being discarded. This data is then presented in a user-friendly dashboard, empowering kitchen staff to reduce waste by up to 50 percent.
