About

PAX sapiens is a nonprofit foundation with a mission to prevent predictable global catastrophes through the creation of new systems of collective coordination that promise a more peaceful world. As a US-based international grant and operating foundation, PAX catalyzes coordination and collective action across the philanthropic, private, and public sectors to address complex global problems. The organization focuses on three primary lines of effort: pandemic prevention, preventing armed conflict between the United States and China, and nuclear risk reduction. PAX also administers the Our Secure Future program, which works to strengthen the Women, Peace and Security agenda by ensuring women's full participation in governance. Through direct grantmaking, convenings, conferences, and information-sharing systems, PAX sapiens advances human security and sustainable peace on a global scale.
