Precision Development (PxD)

About

Our customers face the daunting challenge of poverty and information isolation, which is why we harness the power of technology, data science, and behavioral economics to empower them. Smallholder farmers, who make up a significant portion of the world's poor, often lack access to timely, actionable information that could improve their yields and livelihoods. We bridge this gap by delivering personalized agricultural advice directly to their mobile phones, enabling them to make informed decisions that enhance their productivity, profitability, and environmental sustainability. We build low-cost, scalable digital information systems that reach millions of people in low- and middle-income countries. By continuously experimenting, iterating, and gathering evidence on impact, we ensure our services are not only effective but also cost-efficient. Our pioneering model of digital development is implemented in collaboration with partner organizations, governments, and the private sector to maximize scale and sustainability. Whether it's providing weather forecasts, pest management tips, or market data, our goal is to put the power of information into the hands of those who need it most, helping them to change their own lives and build a more resilient future.
