About
Quindar is a web app used by satellite owners to analyze, test and operate their constellation. For example, Airbus could use Quindar to operate their satellite fleet with minimal human intervention. We’re six former OneWeb engineers who helped build the software platform that currently operates the second largest satellite constellation in the world. The space industry is shifting from companies launching a handful of satellites over a decade, to launching hundreds of satellites EACH in just a few years. Our SaaS platform automates mission management and for a single engineer to operate hundreds of satellites instead of the traditional model of many engineers operating a single satellite.
Open positions
Platform Engineer
Platform Engineer at Quindar, a Denver startup building cloud-native satellite mission operations software ('operate satellites like servers'). You architect, automate, and maintain highly available Kubernetes infrastructure across cloud and secure on-prem environments with a DevSecOps focus (SOC2, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP), using Terraform, Python, and AWS.

Backend Engineer
Backend engineer at Quindar building cloud-native satellite mission operations software that treats satellites like servers. Day to day: developing Python/GraphQL APIs and integrating AWS services (EKS, Fargate, S3, RDS) in an Agile Scrum team, with some exposure to generative AI integrations and DevSecOps/CI-CD tooling.

Forward Deployed Engineer
Forward Deployed Product Engineer at Quindar who deploys and supports satellite mission software in customer environments, troubleshooting across backend APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, and frontend while turning field feedback into product direction. Requires Python, cloud/Docker/Kubernetes skills, TS/SCI clearance, and ITAR eligibility.

Software Engineer - AI & Internal Systems
Software engineer who acts like an internal forward-deployed engineer, building 'The Grid': AI-native automations and integrations that connect Quindar's product, engineering, sales, marketing, and ops workflows. Day to day you embed with teams, then build software using APIs, LLMs, AI agents, and backend/frontend code to automate and secure company processes.

Full Stack Engineer
Build and maintain full-stack satellite operations software using Python, AWS, React, and TypeScript, supporting U.S. government missions while contributing to Quindar’s core product.
