About
Sofar Sounds is a global community that reimagines live experiences by transforming unconventional spaces into intimate showcases for local grassroots art and culture. The company specializes in live music, comedy, dance, and performance poetry events, producing secret and pop-up shows in venues ranging from caves and churches to rooftops and boats. With a network of over 10,000 venues and tens of thousands of emerging artists, Sofar is known for discovering rising talent—artists such as Billie Eilish and Hozier have performed early in their careers at Sofar events. Its distinctive value lies in creating immersive, community-driven experiences that blend unique locations with fresh talent, supported by partnerships with major brands and a culture of innovation and collaboration.
