We’re building the technology all restaurants run on. Restaurants are more than just places to order food – they are the heartbeat of our communities. They create jobs, support local economies, and offer spaces where we gather, laugh, and make lasting memories. The blood, sweat, and tears put in by restaurant owners and workers fuel dreams of a brighter future for their families. Yet, too often, the unsung heroes behind these businesses have to work long, grueling hours for little reward. Tarro exists to build technology that makes restaurant life less of a grind, and to bridge the gap between the joy of food for consumers and the bottom line for restaurant operators. Our story began in 2012 when I dropped out of Harvard to start Tarro. My parents, immigrants, were understandably confused and worried as I turned away from conventional success. Growing up in my family’s restaurant, I saw firsthand the relentless grind of ownership and the emotional toll it took on my parents. I wanted to create a solution. Tarro was born out of this understanding, with a mission to help restaurants streamline operations and grow their revenue. Today, Tarro is made up of a committed team focused on changing the future of an industry that means so much. We believe in empowering independent restaurant owners, fostering a people-centric work environment, and maintaining relentlessly high standards.
