The role blends data analysis, experimentation, and generative AI workflows to turn complex constraint-solving into a simple product for K-12 schedulers.
Senior Software Engineer, Optimizer
Senior engineer owning Timely's core school-scheduling optimizer: designing and extending the optimization algorithms (linear solvers, ML, generative AI) plus the full-stack job orchestration, APIs, and data systems around it. Day to day includes leading technical projects, scaling/operationalizing the product (on-call, testing, observability, experiments), and mentoring engineers.
