About
Founded in 1986, VCA Animal Hospitals is a family of hometown animal hospitals committed to making a positive impact for pets, people, and our communities. We offer a range of veterinary services from primary and preventive care to specialty, urgent, and emergency care across our national network of more than 1,000 animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada. Each year, we care for over four million pets, providing them with world-class veterinary medicine complemented by a hometown care approach. Our mission at VCA is to enhance the well-being of all animals by practicing high-quality medicine, investing in cutting-edge technology, and fostering a culture of compassion among our nearly 35,000 Associates. This includes approximately 7,000 veterinarians, many of whom are board-certified specialists in fields such as oncology and emergency care. We prioritize collaborative approaches both within our hospitals and with the pet owners we serve. As part of the Mars Veterinary Health family, we are dedicated to evolving veterinary care and ensuring a lasting, positive impact on our communities and the pets we love.
