About
Vineyard Vines is a prominent American clothing and accessory retailer founded in 1998 on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, by brothers Shep and Ian Murray. Initially known for its high-quality ties, the brand has evolved to offer a comprehensive range of clothing and accessories for men, women, and children. The company's philosophy is rooted in the pursuit of a lifestyle where 'every day should feel this good,' which is reflected in their vibrant apparel and cheerful branding. Vineyard Vines has established itself as a quintessential representation of the preppy American lifestyle, incorporating nautical themes and high-quality materials into its collections. Over the years, Vineyard Vines has experienced significant growth, expanding from a small startup selling ties out of a backpack to a national retailer with over 100 locations across the United States. Their product range includes not just ties, but also casual wear such as shirts, shorts, swimwear, and accessories, characterized by the iconic pink whale logo. The company’s commitment to quality and comfort has resonated with consumers, leading to strong sales figures and brand loyalty, representing nearly half a billion dollars in revenue.
