Job Overview

Location: Remote (requires a reliable computer, power, and high-speed internet)
Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Time (Mon - Fri); occasional flexibility required (meetings outside regular hours or urgent weekend tasks)
Reports to: CEO

We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to lead core operational teams, including inbound sales, data verification, and content production. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to optimize processes, and a data-driven approach to improving efficiency and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct multiple operational teams handling repetitive SOP-driven tasks.
• Set, track, and monitor OKRs and KPIs to ensure teams meet performance goals.
• Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, job descriptions, and operational documentation.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Provide consistent project management and status updates to the CEO.
• Deliver clear and accurate reporting of worker hours and output.

Growth Opportunities

This role offers the potential to advance from Operations Manager to General Manager, eventually leading a Profit & Loss (P&L) unit for a business vertical (e.g., movers, real estate, hotels). High performers may also have opportunities to progress toward a COO role.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Experience managing remote teams in data operations, content production, or inbound sales.
• Strong written English skills (C1 accepted, C2 preferred).
• Proven ability to set and track KPIs for operational teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (including scripting and automation).
• Strong quality control mindset and attention to detail.
• Experience hiring, managing, and training employees.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with task management systems and automation.
• Experience writing persuasive copy in English.
• Strong background in SOP development and process optimization.
• Experience with UML diagramming and process design.
• Ability to script in Excel or Google Sheets.
