Job Description: ASP.NET Web Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced ASP.NET Web Developer to develop, enhance, and maintain web applications. This role involves working with a diverse tech stack, including ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, VB.NET, C#, SQL Server, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, and web services, within a Windows/IIS environment.

The developer will collaborate closely with Account Managers and Project Managers to enhance and deploy existing web applications, customize CMS and e-commerce solutions based on client needs, and develop custom functionalities. Success in this role requires adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving project environment where system requirements and client priorities shape development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, enhance, and customize proprietary content management, association management, and e-commerce frameworks.
• Develop comprehensive websites and applications that meet customer objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverables are successfully met with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Work closely with other developers to share knowledge and stay up to date with technology trends.
• Improve and enhance internal frameworks to optimize client solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience as a web developer, preferably using ASP.NET MVC with WebForms.
• Proficiency in SQL, SQL Server or MySQL, with basic database administration skills.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, SQL Studio (or MySQL admin tools), and other Microsoft development tools.
• Strong initiative and self-motivation, with a “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek assistance.
• Strong logical reasoning, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing project priorities.
