About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, Snowflake, stored procedures, and ETL orchestration within a data warehousing environment. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing SQL-based data solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data processing and high-performance analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based ETL processes within Snowflake.
Build and optimize stored procedures, views, and SQL queries to support reporting and analytics.
Develop data models and transformations to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Collaborate with BI teams to support Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools by preparing optimized data structures.
Work with relational and dimensional data models to ensure high data quality and performance.
Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries for efficiency and scalability.
Ensure data integrity, security, and best practices in database development.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, stored procedures, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with ETL orchestration and data warehouse development.
Strong analytical skills to understand data relationships, natural keys, and grain levels.
Experience working with relational and dimensional models.
Ability to collaborate with BI and analytics teams to optimize data for reporting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Bonus Skills
Experience with ETL scheduling tools and automation.
Basic knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
