About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to support AI application maintenance, technology upgrades and software quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, validating system changes and upgrades, and improving test coverage through automation.

This role is suitable for a QA professional with strong software testing experience, technical troubleshooting skills and exposure to AI-powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for functional, integration, system, regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Perform AI application testing, including validating outputs, comparing results across versions and assessing application behaviour following upgrades.

• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.

• Perform SQL queries and data validation to verify application results and data accuracy.

• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Python, Selenium or Playwright.

• Support test automation integration with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

• Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis and work closely with developers and technical teams to resolve issues.

• Validate application changes, technology upgrades and releases to ensure system stability and quality.

• Provide testing reports, maintain QA documentation and support production-related issues when required.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

• 6–9 years of relevant software QA and testing experience.

• Hands-on experience in functional testing, SIT, UAT, integration testing and regression testing.

• Experience in API testing and SQL-based data validation.

• Experience with test automation tools such as Python, Selenium or Playwright.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to AI/ML application testing, AI output validation or testing following model or technology upgrades.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work with developers, business users and other stakeholders.

• Banking or financial services experience would be an advantage.
