FANUC America Corporation: Manufacturing Engineer for Rochester Hills, MI to create & provide control plans, build plans, quality control documents, safety requirements, protective personal equipment, and packaging and shipment plans for the quality process; estimate labor, design, build & engineering needs per project; conduct manufacturing review meetings; review & analyze designs and materials to ensure quality and adherence to project schedule. Requires Master’s in Electronics, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or closely-related field and 3 yrs experience in a manufacturing environment using 3D & 2D modeling software to validate functionality of engineering designs and/or processes; developing & implementing safety plans and PFMEA risk assessments to support compliant operations; performing robot programming & operation to create test programs and validate functionality of robots; using diagnostics pro software to analyze status of mechanical unit to understand needs of robot performance in working conditions; using Oracle ERP system to order & procure parts and consumables; implementing, developing & adhering to quality procedures and work instructions; and analyzing project requirements & evaluating competitive quotes for insourced labor to meet project deadlines. $107,661.00 to $121,250.14 per year.
