[0580] Senior Automotive Technician (Workshop Supervisor) - Tampines / $4.2k

Working Days: Monday to Saturday :9am to 6pm
Working Location: Tampines
Starting Salary: $3200 - $4200 （depend experience)

Technical and Repair Duties

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair works on various vehicle makes and models.

• Conduct engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, air-conditioning, and electrical system repairs.

Leadership and Team Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations.

• Assign jobs and workloads to mechanics based on skill level and workshop priorities.

• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to workshop staff.

• Train and mentor junior mechanics

• Monitor employee performance and recommend improvements

• Assist management in evaluating workshop staff and identifying training needs.

Workshop Operations

• Support the Workshop Manager in achieving productivity and efficiency targets.

• Report equipment defects or maintenance requirements promptly.

• Assist in inventory monitoring and parts management.

• Coordinate with Parts Advisors and Service Advisors regarding repair requirements.

• Provide accurate technical information relating to vehicle conditions and repair requirements.

Requirement

· Minimum 5 years' experience for Head Car Mechanic position

· Able to diagnose Japanese, Continental and hybrid vehicles

· Able to supervise 3-8 mechanics

· Train junior mechanics
