At TalentCross, we are supporting our client, a global leader in the media and technology industry, in the search for a Senior Data Engineer. This professional will join the data team to lead the migration and conversion of data platforms from GCP and other external sources into Snowflake, building a solid and scalable Data Warehouse environment.
🎯 Responsibilities:
Design and build dimensional data models (primarily star schemas) to support key business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for integrating Snowflake with BigQuery and relational databases.
Use DBT to transform data following established best practices and standards.
Implement data quality testing in DBT and apply data profiling techniques to assess raw data quality.
Collaborate with the Data Science team to understand their data needs and support pipelines built using DBT, Python, and Airflow.
✅ Requirements:
Strong expertise in SQL.
Proven experience working with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
Experience with AWS environments.
Solid understanding of dimensional modeling.
Hands-on experience using DBT for data transformation and testing.
Ability to optimize SQL queries for performance and cost-efficiency.
Experience in data profiling and implementing data quality checks.
