About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer Consultant to join a leading global client in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence 1 to 2 days per week in the Polanco area. The selected professional will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced machine learning models for real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop ML models using supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deploy scalable machine learning solutions.
Handle end-to-end model lifecycle: data preparation, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
Ensure high performance, robustness, and maintainability of ML pipelines.
Monitor model performance in production and iterate as needed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in ML/AI.
Required Expertise:
Strong understanding of core ML algorithms and statistical methods.
Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Hands-on experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering.
Proficiency in model lifecycle management, from training to monitoring in production.
Familiarity with tools and platforms for model deployment (e.g., MLflow, SageMaker, Kubeflow).
Solid programming skills in Python and experience with relevant ML libraries.
Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in machine learning engineering.
Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
Availability to work on-site in Mexico City (Polanco) 1–2 times per week.
