1 Year Materials Test Engineer/Assistant | MNC | Joo Koon | Up to $6500 #NKA

Location: Gul Circle (3 bus stops from Joo Koon MRT)

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm

Salary: Up to $6500

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute laboratory test programs.
• Perform test preparation, setup, and execution activities.
• Monitor test performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyse test results and provide recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and customer deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of testing methods, equipment, and laboratory processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to achieve project objectives

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science / Lab Tech or any related disciplines
• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and practices.
• Knowledge in ASTM, ISO and other related energy standards are preferred.
• Operation of test machine and analytical laboratory equipment (e.g. microscope, measurement instrument, standard testing machine, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience in digital skills, including AI prompt engineering, would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Basic understanding of safety and quality management systems.
