1 Year Resident Technical Officer | Up to $6500 #NKA

Location: Promenade

Duration: 1 year contract

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 830 - 6

Salary: Up to $6500 + completion bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings and schedules.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure contractors comply with site safety requirements.
  • Review design drawings, method statements, material requisitions and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate and supervise delivery of materials and equipment, including verification against delivery documents.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveys and line checks to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and contract requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify site issues and coordinate with contractors/project teams on corrective actions.
  • Identify defects, prepare punch lists and follow up on rectification and closure.
  • Support site acceptance tests, pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning of equipment and systems.
  • Maintain accurate site records and prepare progress/status reports.
  • Assist with as-built drawings, O&M manuals and handover of completed systems to the O&M team.
  • Perform other project/site duties as assigned.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Building, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Accredited as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO)
  • Relevant experience in construction/site supervision.
  • Good knowledge of construction practices, engineering drawings, quality control, workplace safety and applicable regulations.
  • Experience with chilled water system projects will be an advantage.
