Location: Toa Payoh
Duration: 1 year (renewable/convertible)
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm
Salary: Up to $6200
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
- Design and maintain a consistent design system / component library
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centered designs
- Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout the product lifecycle
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data insights
- Ensure designs meet accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
- Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and/or mobile products
- Proven experience designing e-commerce websites or consumer-facing web platforms (online retail, marketplace, booking, food delivery, fintech consumer apps, etc.).
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
- Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
- Ability to translate user research and data into design decisions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to collaborate effectively with developers
- Experience with motion design / micro-interactions
- Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
