About the role
Senior System Analyst – .NET Developer & Application Support role within Group IT / Application. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver ERP solutions and applications aligned with business objectives, converting business requirements into robust technical solutions using the .NET technology stack. You will own the end-to-end SDLC, covering solution design, development, deployment and production support.
Key Responsibilities:

Convert business into robust technical solutions using the .NET technology stack.
Own the end-to-end SDLC, covering solution design, development, deployment and production support.
Architect and develop scalable, secure and maintainable solutions, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud solutions.
Drive integration across enterprise integration with internal and external systems.
Resolve complex production issues, identify root causes, and improve application performance and reliability.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and compliance with IT security and governance and development standards.
Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, engineering standards, and security governance.
Takes ownership and lead assigned projects from inception to delivery, ensuring quality, timely execution, stakeholder satisfaction, and effective technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Min 5 years of experience in full-stack software development and application support.
Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core (MVC / Web API), and .NET 8+.
Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks, preferably React; Angular or Vue.js is an advantage.
Knowledge of Python and other programming languages to support system integration and modernisation initiatives.
Experience with AWS or Azure, including deployment and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
Practical knowledge of with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Good understanding of web security, authentication/authorisation, API protection.
Strong skills in debugging, performance optimisation, and system analysis.

Minimum 5 years in application development and support.
Proficient and hands-on experience in ASP.NET, web API, HTML, CS, JavaScript, AJAX, MVC framework or other web design framework.
Experienced in Internet technologies, application servers and database.
Have completed at least 2 project life cycles.
Able to work independently and multi-task effectively.
