About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Executive to manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable cycle for our US clients. You will ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and clean cash application, while following US GAAP and our internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and debit memos accurately and on time
  • Perform cash application, matching incoming payments (ACH, wire, check) to open invoices
  • Monitor AR aging, follow up with US customers by email and phone, and drive timely collections
  • Resolve billing disputes, short payments, and deductions by coordinating with sales, operations, and customers
  • Maintain and reconcile the AR sub-ledger to the general ledger
  • Support month-end close: accruals, revenue and AR reconciliations, and bad debt/allowance for doubtful accounts review
  • Prepare AR reports such as aging, DSO, collection forecasts, and unapplied cash
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606) principles
  • Support internal and external audits with schedules and documentation
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to reduce DSO and manual effort
  • Guide and review the work of junior team members (analysts/associates)

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in US accounting with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics (any one)
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with confidence in communicating with US customers
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in US shift hours and meet tight deadlines
