1130 - Mobile Engineer (React Native)

We need an English-fluent Mid Level Mobile Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile applications using React Native.

• Build reusable UI components and supporting functionality using React.

• Own mobile features end to end, from development and testing through release.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mobile crashes, bugs, and stability issues.

• Implement monitoring hooks, alerts, and other mechanisms to improve mobile application visibility and reliability.

• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and REST APIs.

• Support the development and maintenance of mobile functionality such as leak-sensor and monitoring applications.

• Participate in mobile release processes, including testing, validation, and deployment.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across the mobile application and API integration layers.

• Write and maintain automated and manual tests to ensure application quality.

• Collaborate with other engineers, Tech Leads, Architects, and product stakeholders.

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve mobile performance, stability, and user experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in mobile development.

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native.

• Strong experience with React.

• Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.

• Experience with mobile testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Experience supporting mobile application releases and deployment processes.

• Understanding of mobile application performance, stability, and crash management.

• Experience using AI tools.
• Highly autonomous and self-sufficient in their processes

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to take ownership of features and deliver them independently.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a distributed engineering team.

• Strong English communication skills.

It's a plus:

• Experience with mobile monitoring and observability tools.

• Experience working with crash reporting and alerting platforms.

• Familiarity with iOS and Android release processes.

• Experience with CI/CD for mobile applications.

• Experience working with sensor-based or IoT-related applications.

• Experience with backend development or full-stack engineering.

• Experience working with distributed or nearshore teams.

Compensation:

• The salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,800 - $3,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.

• This is a 40 hours per week.

• This position is for a full time contract, through a payroll platform.

• The talent will work remotely allocated at our client.
