Contract Period: From 14 September 2026 to 3 September 2027
Personnel to be deployed at the following days and hours during school terms (except school holidays):
* Mondays to Fridays : 7:15am to 2:15pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
* Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and school holidays
Job Scopes:
The scope of services shall include the following: A. Incident Investigation and Case Management
1. Support the school in student case management, including cases involving students identified as being at risk or requiring additional behavioural, social-emotional or welfare support.
2. Conduct preliminary investigations and fact-finding for student-related incidents, including: a. Establishing the sequence and timeline of events; b. Interviewing students involved in the incident; c. Interviewing witnesses, teachers, staff and other relevant parties; d. Reviewing CCTV footage, where applicable; e. Reviewing written statements, photographs, digital communications and other relevant records;f. Providing input on the focus and appropriate lines of enquiry for the investigation.
3. Ensure that all investigations are conducted objectively, fairly and professionally, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality. B. Student Supervision and Patrol 1. Patrol and supervise students during recess, lunch breaks, curriculum time, CCA periods and other school activities where applicable. 2. Manage minor student conflicts and de-escalate situations where appropriate, and refer serious or unresolved matters to the relevant school personnel. 3. Deter, detect and report inappropriate or unsafe student activities, including fighting, bullying and other forms of misconduct. C. Detention, Suspension and Corrective Measures 1. Manage and supervise students serving: a. Recess suspension; b. Out-of-classroom suspension; and c. Other school-directed corrective or disciplinary measures. 2. Maintain a safe, structured and conducive environment for students serving suspension. 3. Supervise students under disciplinary measures and ensure that the tasks are carried out safely and appropriately. 4. Provide appropriate socio-emotional support to students who: a. Are unable to reintegrate into the classroom immediately; b. Require time and support to regulate their emotions; c. Are absent from lessons due to suspension or student management concerns; or d. Require temporary supervision outside the classroom.D. Documentation, Reporting and Record Management 1. Maintain accurate and confidential records relating to:
a. Student incidents and investigations;
b. Student engagement and intervention;
c. Follow-up actions and case outcomes; 2. Observe, identify and document students’ behavioural, social emotional, peer-relationship, engagement and learning-related needs. 3. Provide regular updates and feedback to the relevant school personnel on:
a. Students’ needs and progress;
b. Intervention and programme outcomes;
c. Recurring behavioural or student management issues; and
d. Recommended follow-up actions.
4. Ensure that all records and documentation are handled in accordance with the school’s confidentiality, record-management and data-protection requirements.
Requirements:
1. Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
2. Have at least 2 years of relevant working experience in managing, supervising, mentoring or supporting children/youth.
3. Relevant experience should preferably include one or more of the following areas:
a. Student discipline/case management;
b. Behavioural support and intervention;
c. Investigation and disciplinary proceedings;
d. Conflict management and mediation; and
e. Restorative practices.
4. The Personnel must be emotionally stable, resilient and culturally sensitive. He or she must be able to
a. uphold professionalism, confidentiality and positive relationships
b. with students, staff and stakeholders
c. maintain a firm but caring approach in managing students
d. defuse high-tension situations and mediate peer conflicts
e. act as a positive role model for students
