Student Management Support Staff


Location: SCHOOL-Lorong Kismis
Contract Period: 14 September 2026 to 30 November 2027

Working Hours

  • Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm, including a one-hour lunch break

  • May be required to attend selected training or briefing sessions after school or during school holidays

  • No regular service on Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays and gazetted public or school holidays

Job Description

The Student Management Support Staff will provide administrative and operational support for the school’s student management functions, including case investigations, behaviour intervention, student supervision and record management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate cases of student misconduct professionally and objectively.

  • Interview students and gather relevant information regarding incidents.

  • Provide timely case updates to teachers and relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records using the school’s case-tracking system.

  • Monitor cases and ensure that required follow-up actions are completed.

  • Facilitate student reflection, reconciliation and restorative sessions.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with identified students.

  • Support teachers in implementing student intervention plans.

  • Coordinate and supervise Recess Suspension and In-School Suspension duties.

  • Compile student management reports, statistics and case information.

  • Provide administrative and operational support for student management.

  • Perform other related duties assigned by the school.

Requirements

  • Must be registered with the Ministry of Education’s REMS as of the ITQ closing date and throughout the contract.

  • Possess at least a diploma in any discipline.

  • Pleasant, patient and people-oriented.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Prior experience working with students in a school is an advantage.

  • Experience in counselling, behaviour management, case management or restorative practices is preferred.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle student cases sensitively.

  • Able to commit to the stipulated working hours and contract period.
