Description
Position Purpose :
1. Develop and maintain x86 (Intel/AMD) BSP solutions.
2. Act as the core technical contact, collaborating with internal teams (HW, BIOS) and assisting customers to resolve technical issues from early development through mass production.
Key Responsibilities :
1. BSP Development : Develop, customize, and maintain x86 BSP for Intel and AMD platforms, focusing on device drivers, kernel modifications, and OS integration (primarily Linux--ubuntu/Buildroot/Debian).
2. Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with the dedicated BIOS engineering team to ensure seamless system initialization, firmware-to-OS handoff, and system-level configuration.
3. Hardware Bring-up : Coordinate closely with the Hardware team to perform new board bring-up and provide test scripts or tools for hardware verification.
4. Production Enablement : Collaborate with the TE teams to complete the process of mass production, including developing necessary scripts and test plan.
5. System Debugging & Testing : Perform system-level debugging and testing. Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to hardware interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI).
