1st shift HDW Packer

Hardware Packer -- Amarr - Shawnee, KS

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Enter standard (tare) weights in computer.

• Weight completed hardware boxes and determine if weight is within tolerance (+/-0.200 lb.)

• Stack boxes on pallets.

• Complete shipping tickets and white pallet labels.

• Assist Quality Auditor as necessary.

• Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.

• Any other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Standing/Walking required throughout the entire shift

• Walking distance of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis during the shift, depending upon the position assigned

• Manual dexterity: Grip small objects to cut rubber and maneuver hands/wrists in repetitive motion consistently

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to compare numbers to a given standard.

• Ability to identify and enter correct data into a computer.
