Machine Operator - Automatic Press
Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build a career in manufacturing? Join our team as a Machine Operator - Automatic Press and play a key role in producing high-quality stamped metal components in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Do
- Operate metal stamping presses, transfer systems, and feed lines
- Load steel coils and perform coil changes using overhead cranes
- Monitor equipment and troubleshoot basic production issues
- Conduct visual and manual quality inspections
- Record production and downtime in the MRP system
- Ensure proper labeling of finished products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all quality, safety, SPC, and 5S procedures
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to use gauges, micrometers, and calipers
- Safety-focused mindset
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with transfer dies or transfer systems
