1st Shift - Rewinder Operator
Salary Range: $20.00-24.00/hour (pending experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday / 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM,

Essential Duties and Tasks

- Sets up, operates, and monitors rewinder machinery. Complete all necessary documentation.
- Load materials, adjust settings, calibrate equipment, and palletize materials according to job.
- Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and assist with routine maintenance. Keep area clean and organized.
- Train and assist team members and other departments as needed.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Highschool Diploma or GED required.
- 2-4 years in related field – preferred.
- Some manufacturing experience required.

Work Environment
Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Safety shoes and vision protection required, hearing protection required in some areas.
This role operates primarily in a manufacturing environment. Employee may be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, moderate noise levels, and hot/humid manufacturing environment.

This role will regularly use plant machinery which certification may be required. This role routinely works around moving equipment. May need to get on and off equipment, stairs, this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to type, hold, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
