1st shift Swiss -Set Up Machinist

Job Purpose:
- The Set Up Machinist (Level 3) at Precision Medical Technologies is responsible for setting up and operating complex machinery to produce precision medical components. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to machinery settings.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of machine settings and part specifications.
- Train and mentor junior machinists, providing guidance and support in developing their technical skills.
