Summary
The Principal Project Manager will lead complex cyber security initiatives, specifically focusing on the delivery of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions within the Queensland public health system. This role involves managing project performance, budgets, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring alignment with government architecture and security standards.
Salary: No contractor fees / two pay runs per week
Contract to 16/05/2027 | On-site role based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland Government client to recruit two experienced security-focused Principal Project Managers. In this role, you will work within the Cyber Security Program, leading the delivery of large-scale, complex ICT projects with a key focus on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions across the public health system.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and deliver complex cyber security initiatives, specifically focused on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
Manage project performance, budgets, timeframes, and quality standards following Queensland Health’s project management framework.
Develop written submissions, briefs, presentations, and information papers to enable informed decision-making for stakeholders.
Provide strategic input and ensure project deliverables align with Queensland Health architecture and quality standards.
Lead, guide, and mentor multi-disciplinary project teams while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement across the project lifecycle.
About You:
Demonstrated high-level expertise in project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2) with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage client-focused stakeholder relationships through strong negotiation and communication.
Extensive experience implementing, integrating, and migrating MFA solutions (e.g., RSA SecurID, Microsoft Entra ID) in large, federated environments.
Strong domain knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), directory services, and cyber security policies (e.g., IS18).
