2026_112_SENIOR RESEARCH TECHNICIAN
We are looking for a Senior Research Technician to take ownership of a high-impactproject on non-genetic drug resistance in melanoma—and we want someone who treatsthis as their own scientific mission. Your core task: develop and implement aphysiologically relevant 3D model that captures the real-time crosstalk between tumorcells and the microenvironment, directly informing combination strategies to overcometreatment failure. We need a hands-on expert in primary cell culture, multiplex assays, and 3D scaffolds—someone who troubleshoots independently, mentors effectively, andbridges lab work with translational goals.
Interested persons must attach to the application:
- Establish and optimize a 3D co-culture model integrating melanoma cells with stromal/immune components to mimic the tumor microenvironment.
- Perform drug sensitivity assays and longitudinal viability tests to monitor treatment response and acquired resistance.
- Conduct molecular analyses (RNA/protein extraction, qPCR, Western blotting, cytokine profiling) to characterize non-genetic adaptive changes.
- Carry out high-content imaging and quantitative microscopy to assess spatial interactions, invasion, and phenotypic plasticity within 3D constructs.
- Maintain detailed electronic lab records, analyze data with statistical rigor, and present results in team meetings.
- Train and supervise junior technicians/students, manage reagent inventory, and troubleshoot protocols proactively.
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians to integrate wet-lab data with omics datasets, feeding results into therapeutic strategy development.
- Master in Biomedicine or closely related field, with a focus on cancer research.
- Experience in tissue culture and data analysis
- Strong experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques (DNA and RNA isolation, RNA quantification, qPCR and immunofluoresence).
- Strong experience in cell culture, including the establishment of primary cultures.
- Experience in proteomics, particularly in O-Link analysis.
- Hands-on experience in clinical research environments.
- Basic knowledge of Rstudio.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- International experience will be considered an asset.
- Experience in sòlid tumors tumors will be considered an asset.

Interested persons must attach to the application:
- Motivation letter explaining their interest in the position.
- Updated CV.
