2026-2027 Home Instruction Tutor

Description: Home Instruction tutors on an as needed basis, at the established rate of $25.00 per hour. There are no set hours for this position.
Job Summary: Provide compensatory education for students during prolonged absences. Consult with teachers and parents to bring the influences of both home and school together for the fullest benefit to the student. Work with colleagues to ensure the provision of all services mandated by state and Federal law. Actively encourage parental involvement. Treat each contact with the public as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the school district. Please note that instruction may also be held at a library or a public place agreed upon by both the teacher and parent.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Teaching License appropriate for the grade level and subject of the assignment.
- Must be HQT in teaching area
- A clear BCII / FBI record
- Ability to travel to the teaching assignments
