2026-27 Special Education Teacher

The Churchill County School District is currently accepting applications for the following
licensed position for the 2026-2027 school year:

POSITION: Special Education Teacher – Churchill County High School

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and qualify for a teaching license issued by NDE.

REQUIRED LICENSE: Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.

DEFINITION: The teacher provides instruction to students including preparation, assessment and management.

CURRENT SALARY: $49,049 minimum-$95,806 depending on experience and education, scheduled 183 days per year.

BENEFITS: Nevada PERS retirement contribution, health, dental, vision and life insurance. Sick leave and personal leave included. Nevada has no state income tax.
