Job Description

Mizuho Securities Asia is looking for a Summer Intern to work in our Debt Capital Markets team based in Seoul. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of deal origination and execution which includes the following:

  • Support the DCM Korea team in deal origination and execution which includes;
    • Analysis of potential target clients / investors
    • Preparation of pitching materials (Credentials / Recommendation including tenor, indicative pricing, issuance strategy, issuance timeline, etc. / Market Update / Case Study)Execution of transaction-related legal documents, investor meeting materials
    • Management of internal procedures (KYC, compliance, risk, finance, etc.)
  • Management of market data update package on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Coordination with regional colleagues for periodic market overview reports
  • Reporting to regional management team on pipeline status and performance
  • Good external & internal relationship management

Role Prerequisites

  • Penultimate year student graduating in Dec 2026 or June 2027
  • Strong academic record preferably major in Business, Finance, Economics
  • Possess a good understanding of and passionate about Finance markets, especially Debt Capital Markets/ Credit Markets
  • Articulate, strong communicator, and can write and speak fluently in English and Korean
  • Diligent, strong work ethic and possesses an entrepreneurial and team mindset
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Relevant internship experience will be beneficial
  • Japanese skill is an advantage
